Amanresort's flagship property overlooks the Andaman Sea on the west coast of Thailand's tropical island of Phuket. Forty pavilions and 30 private Thai villa homes are interspersed throughout a mature coconut plantation. The resort's pavilions are over 1,225 square feet each, including the private outdoor terrace. All pavilions feature an outdoor sala, a king-size bed, separate bath and shower, refrigerator with fully stocked minibar, electronic safe, stereo CD cassette system, IDD services and wireless broadband connections (also available in public areas of the resort), and air-conditioning. Pavilions 105 and 103 enjoy the best views of the Andaman Sea.

Amanpuri ("peaceful place") provides a choice of three restaurants for dining. The Beach Terrace offers an alfresco setting for drinks and light snacks. Overlooking the main swimming pool, The Terrace offers Thai and a selection of international dishes, while the Restaurant serves Italian cuisine. Alternatively, a specially designed Aman Spa menu can be enjoyed either in one of the restaurants or in the privacy of a pavilion's dining sala.

The crescent beach offers a range of seasonal water sports while Amancruises offers the largest fleet of vessels of any resort in Southeast Asia. The beach side gym features glass-to-ceiling windows and six floodlit tennis courts are also available.
