Aboard the Isabela II
This 40-guest vessel, with 20 outside-only cabins offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the Islands. The yacht is fully air-conditioned; its spacious cabins all have private bathrooms. Its three public decks offer the amenities of a larger vessel, including bar/salon, dining room, library and sun deck with ample outdoor seating, an observation area for whale and dolphin watching, and a Jacuzzi and solarium. Isabela's trained chefs prepare a superb selection of meals, and the helpful, warm staff attends to your every need. The expedition team will delight guests with diverse natural history knowledge, superb on-deck talks, and informative lectures. Multimedia presentations and recaps complement the day's activities.
Aboard La Pinta
The 207-foot ship accommodates 48 guests. Its 24 plush outside cabins are located mid-ship, upper deck, with double beds (which convert to one queen bed), with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Six cabins are connected, and there are also 4 triple cabins. Both international cuisine and popular Ecuadorian dishes are served aboard the yacht, with the well-trained crew providing the highest standards of service. The naturalist guides' expertise matches their passion for discussing geology, flora and fauna, snorkeling or stargazing. La Pinta follows strict standards in relation to safety at sea and supports conservation of the archipelago, taking all the precautions not to alter the integrity of its ecosystems.
Both ships offer a choice of departure dates and cruise lengths.
A tour of mainland Ecuador is easily added to your Galapagos adventure: view the colonial architecture of Quito, visit the vibrant indigenous cultures of the Andean highlands, and stay at a centuries-old hacienda.
