Itinerary
Day 1
|
|
|

Arrive in Porto Seguro and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, wander the town's many artisan shops around the Quadrado, lit by torchlight. At one end of the square stands the quaint whitewashed church of São João Batista—the second church built in Brazil. Then, have dinner at Cacau, one of the best restaurants in town, highlighting local Bahian cuisine with an Asian twist.

Day 2

|
|
Today, you'll take a day trip to Espelho Beach. Praia do Espelho has been voted the fourth most beautiful beaches in Brazil. This and the interconnected Curuipe Beach are about 20 miles outside of Trancoso. Towering coconut groves, enticing reefs, natural pools, soaring white and red rock cliffs, surround these beaches.

Day 3
|
|
|
|
Depending on your mood and preference, you may want to take a trip to explore the Brazilian tropical forest or kayak in a nearby river. Later, dine out at one of several excellent restaurants on the Quadrado.

Day 4
|
|
|
|
Enjoy a day of leisure at Etnia. Indulge in a complimentary massage for two at Etnia's therapy center. You may also want to try yoga, meditation, stretch exercises and artistic therapy treatments, which are available at the hotel's therapy center (additional charge).

Day 5
|
|
|
|
Rent horses and ride on a local beach, or participate in other beach activities such as parasailing, biking or boating.

Day 6

Breakfast poolside, and then transfer to the airport for your outgoing flight.
