Fall under the spell of mystical Marrakesh with its exuberant Djemaa el-Fna square, and dine at the historic Yacout restaurant. Later, wander Moorish gardens filled with pavilions, pools and exotic plants.
Then, set off towards the high passes of the Atlas Mountains—all dramatic mountains, fertile river valleys and crumbling Kasbahs. Travel up to the picturesque town of Asni, and stay at a restored Kasbah. Drive through the beautiful Ourigane Valley to Tin-Mal and climb up to the Tizi n'Test pass at 6,890 feet. Descend slowly into Taroudant and the verdant Sous Valley. Your hotel, the romantic La Gazelle d'Or is set in 200 acres of beautiful gardens and olive groves.
Visit the oasis town of Skoura, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and finally, the scenic Dades Valley, known as the "Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs." Your return to Marrakesh is via the dramatic Kasbah of Telouet.
