The Middle East region has remained a mystery to many in the Western World. Decades of religious crusades of the Middle Ages and Moorish invasions during the Renaissance contributed to its reputation. This part of the world has actually enjoyed centuries of peace and prosperity which led to remarkable artistic, scientific and literary achievements. Exquisitely preserved ancient monuments like the grand Treasury building at Petra and the Egyptian Pyramids make this part of the world an extraordinary place to experience.

Since opening our first offices in Alexandria, Egypt in the mid 19th century, Cox & Kings has pioneered travel in this stunningly beautiful land. Our Middle East Regional Manager, Nicole Beattie was honored by Condé Nast Traveler Magazine in August 2001 as one of the experts on travel to this region.
