Accountable To: Vice President Agency Sales
Employment Status: Full-Time
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and results orientated individual who is intelligent, creative, forward thinking, and above all, able to demonstrate excellent sales skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
At least five to seven years industry-related sales experience with a sound knowledge of luxury product and service is essential.
The successful candidate must embody a strong work ethic, excellent diplomatic skills, and should be able to take a strategic and macro outlook on every aspect of the job. He or she must not be afraid of making difficult decisions, often within a tight timeframe in a fast-moving environment. Candidates must possess the ability to 'think big' as well as creatively, and should have a sound grasp of both the industry and the relevant competition. They must be capable of making compelling high-level presentations and must possess strong skills in both written and oral communications.
Ultimately, the successful candidate will be both confident and competent. They will require the stature and poise to play a leadership role within the agency sales division of a leading global luxury brand company. Enthusiasm for the company's products must be clearly demonstrable, whilst their high ethical standards, honesty and resourcefulness will rapidly earn the respect of the team. A prerequisite will be the individual's ability to deliver on aggressive sales plans.
The Sales Director must be very "hands-on" and capable of both strategic and tactical implementation with minimal support staff. He | she will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies designed to drive profitable revenue in their territory.
