Day 2Plitvice Lakes National Park - To Split
This morning, depart for the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park's landscapes feature cascading waterfalls, dense forests and a wide diversity of animal life. Stroll the forest pathways and wooden walkways and soak up the lovely scenery before traveling onward to the city of Split in the late afternoon.Judita Palace - 3 Nights (B)
This morning, meet your guide for a tour of the ancient port city of Split. Croatia's second-largest city is located on a peninsula in the heart of the Dalmatian coast, set against a backdrop of high coastal mountains. The city itself has a fascinating historic Old Town with a pretty palm-lined harbor, where you can find the UNESCO site of Diocletian's Palace, the immense walls of which loom over everything in the area. Wander through the charming streets, see Jupiter's Temple, visit the grand cathedral and admire the elegant peristyle surrounding the grand square at the heart of the palace.Judita Palace (B)
After breakfast, embark on a full-day trip to sunny Hvar Island, sometimes referred to as the "Croatian Madeira." The traffic-free streets and beautifully ornamented buildings of Hvar Town are reminiscent of Venice, and the island is known for its rolling green meadows, rocky terrain, clear blue water, islets and coves, as well as for its many fields of lavender and wine estates. Day 5To Dubrovnik
This morning, meet your driver and transfer to Dubrovnik. Described by Byron as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," Dubrovnik boasts a unique political history and world-famous cultural heritage and beauty. Founded 1,300 years ago, Dubrovnik's appeal lies in the old town of Stari Grad, with its marble-paved squares, steep cobbled streets, tall houses, convents, churches, palaces, fountains and museums, all cut from the same light-colored stone.

After breakfast this morning, embark on a day trip to neighboring Montenegro. Cross international borders and spend the day in one of Europe's lesser-visited gems. Enjoy a scenic drive around Kotor Bay with its numerous small settlements, including Risan, once the seat of the Illyrian queen Teuta, and picturesque Perast.
