Day 1Arrive Ayers Rock (Uluru)
Upon arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be met by your private driver and vehicle and escorted to your luxurious resort. Settle in to your tented pavilion, observe the sights and sounds of the desert along one of the circular walking tracks or simply relax by the swimming pool. This afternoon, drive into the national park to observe the changing colors of Uluru as the sun descends. Enjoy an unforgettable outdoor dinner under the stars.Longitude 131 - 3 Nights (D)
Day 2Ayers Rock
Embark on a journey of discovery to The Olgas beginning with a guided walk through Walpa Gorge, its sheer rock walls rising obliquely on either side. Visit the Cultural Centre where the informative and interactive displays provide insight into the spiritual and cultural significance of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. After lunch back at your resort, head out to the base of Uluru for a guided walk. Learn about the history of the Mala people and end your stroll at Kantju Gorge with cocktails and canapes.Longitude 131 (B, L, D)
Day 3Ayers Rock
Travel into the arid desert of the Pitjanjara Lands of Central Australia where you will be met by your Anangu hosts at Cave Hill, the site of the Seven Sisters dreamtime. Marvel at the magnificent cave paintings, and then climb to the top of Cave Hill to admire a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Learn about traditional food gathering and the preparation of desert bush tucker delights before returning to your resort.Longitude 131 (B, L, D)
Day 4Depart Ayers Rock
Before sunrise, depart for a last adventure to Uluru. Stroll along the pathway to the peaceful Mutitjulu Waterhole and the sacred site of Kuniya Piti. Along this walk your guide will share the Anangu creation story of Kuniya and Liru. After breakfast at the resort, your private driver will escort you to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight.(B)
