    To Loch Lomond

    Depart for Stirling. The history of Stirling dates back over 800 years with the heart of the old town still surviving today. Stirling's importance came from the fact that it controlled the lowest crossing point of the River Forth and was the ancient Royal Capital of Scotland. Stirling is also home to Stirling Castle, one of the largest and most important castles, both historically and architecturally, in Scotland. Continue to the near-complete Doune Castle set amid lovely Stirlingshire countryside - recognized as a film location for Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Game of Thrones and Outlander. Continue into the Highlands through the beautiful Trossachs National Park to famous Loch Lomond.

    Inverness
