Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Singapore
Upon arrival in Singapore, you will be welcomed by your Cox & Kings local representative and transferred to your hotel. Mandarin Oriental – 2 nights
Day 2
Singapore
Morning city tour visiting the Civic District, Merlion Park, Thian Hock Keng Temple, the National Orchid Garden and Little India. Afternoon high tea at the legendary Raffles Hotel. (B)
Day 3
To Malacca
Morning drive over the Malaysian border to Malacca, once a major hub in the Orient. Afternoon city tour. This evening, experience a Baba Nyonya dinner, a special blend of Chinese & Malay cooking. Majestic Malacca – 1 night (B, D)
Day 4
To Kuala Lumpur
The morning is at leisure. This afternoon, depart by road for Kuala Lumpur. Mandarin Oriental – 2 nights (B)
Day 5
Kuala Lumpur
Morning city tour, visiting the National Monument, Independence Square, the Selangor Club and Petronas Towers. Afternoon at leisure before a traditional Malay dinner. (B, D)
Day 6
Cameron Highlands
This morning, drive to the Cameron Highlands, stopping at an Aboriginal village en route. Cameron Highlands Resort – 2 nights (B)
Day 7
Cameron Highlands
Morning visit a tea plantation and local market. Afternoon at leisure to take an optional tour, such as a nature walk, or enjoy golf at the resort. (B)
Day 8
To Penang
Depart by road for Penang, once known as ‘the Pearl of the Orient’ and the oldest British settlement in Malaysia. Eastern & Oriental Hotel – 2 nights (B, L)
Day 9
Penang
Morning tour of Penang including Fort Cornwallis, Dragon Mountain Hall and Chinatown, and the Thai temple of Wat Chayamangkalaram. (B)
Day 10
Depart Penang
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight, via Kuala Lumpur. (B)

Beach Extensions: Malaysia has an excellent choice of beach resorts. Travel to Pangkor and Langkawi is recommended year round, although the heaviest rains occur between July and November. The Tanjong Jara on the east coast is best visited between February and September. Please ask your tour consultant for details.
