Poland Luxury Travel

Discover the varied faces of Eastern Europe when you travel to Poland with Cox & Kings. Enjoy insider experiences, grand castles, UNESCO World Heritage sites, unique cultural interactions and a host of extraordinary moments on one of our Poland luxury tour journeys.

Explore Krakow, one of Europe’s most charming cities, in Cox & Kings style with your own private guide. Ascend Royal Wawel Hill to visit the Gothic castle, which was built on the remains of the 10th-century settlement and extended in Renaissance style during the 16th-century. The nearby cathedral contains reminders of the first, Romanesque cathedral, dating back to the 11th century. Save some time for the Old Town with its grand Market Square, historic Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Church and the Florianska Gate. And don’t miss the gorgeous Planty Gardens, a belt of greenery that replaced fortified medieval walls.

Nearby, visit Auschwitz-Birkenau for a sobering reminder of the the Holocaust. Or descend into the depths of the earth to explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine’s chapels sculpted in salt, crystal grottoes and underground ponds. Or stay in the city to learn about Jewish Krakow and visit the remains of Oskar Schindler’s factory.

In Wroclaw, the historical capital of Silesia, see the 10th-century cathedral, the main market square (“Rynek”) and Wroclaw Town hall. Make sure to stop in historic Torun, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest cities in Poland. With numerous monuments dating back to the beginning of the Middle Ages, the city is famous for its monumental churches, the Town Hall and burgher houses.

In the north of the country lies the Hanseatic city of Gdansk, home to charming Mariacka Street and the Solidarity Monument, a tribute to the shipyard workers who set off a chain reaction of peaceful revolutions across the entire continent. Stop at Malbork Castle, once the seat of power for the Order of the Teutonic Knights.

In Warsaw, stop in front of the Parliament and walk through the Lazienki Park with its famous Palace on the Water, Belvedere Palace and the monument to Chopin. Delve into Poland’s past at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, which is located in the former Warsaw Ghetto

Wherever you travel in Poland, we’ll be right there with you, making sure your journey is authentic, innovative and utterly unforgettable.
