    Arrive New York

Welcome to the city that never sleeps. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by private sedan to the Refinery Hotel, your home for the next three nights. The Refinery is a luxurious boutique hotel tucked away on a side street adjacent to both Bryant Park and Times Square. Take some time to change before heading to the restaurant of one of Bravo’s Top Chef contestants for a tour of the kitchen led by the chef himself. After a leisurely dinner, return to the hotel to get a good night’s sleep in anticipation of tomorrow’s adventures.

  • Day 2
    New York

This morning, travel across the bridge to Brooklyn for a half-day culinary and cultural immersion by bicycle. Your ride will be punctuated by stops at tasting stations, beginning with a selection of Brooklyn’s finest baked goods spread out for your enjoyment in a waterfront park with sweeping views of Manhattan. Stop in for a pizza (New York style, of course), cooked by a local shop owner. Continue to the Hasidic neighborhood of South Williamsburg and Brooklyn’s Navy Yard, where you can appreciate the arresting views of Manhattan. Ascend to one of the most recent developments in urban living, a rooftop garden (the world’s largest!) where you will learn about the techniques, challenges, and community benefits of urban gardening. Your next stop is a large-scale coffee roasting facility to witness the entire process from bean to cup, with various samples along the way. Travel under the Manhattan Bridge into the DUMBO neighborhood where you will embark on a ferry back to Williamsburg. Conclude your tour decadently, with a visit to a local chocolate maker. Return to the Refinery for an evening at leisure.

  • Day 3
    New York

Begin your day with an exclusive tour upon which you will be introduced to the up-and-coming artists, gallerists, and curators of the typically off-limits Chelsea art world. The highlight is meeting an established New York artist in his or her studio. The afternoon is yours to explore or rest before your evening of behind-the-scenes Broadway. Attending a long-running Broadway hit is a delight in itself; however, your experience will take you a step beyond with a private discussion and drink with a cast member at Sardi’s, the famed Broadway hangout. After the show, you will again be escorted to the stage door and receive an all-access backstage tour. Return to your hotel at the end of the tour.
