Discover the heart of Patagonia on this incredible journey through one of the world's greatest wilderness regions. Begin your adventure in Chile's cosmopolitan capital before heading south to experience the glory of Torres del Paine National Park. Then board your comfortable ship for a four-night cruise through the Beagle Channel to Cape Horn. After marveling at icebergs and visiting a colony of penguins, fly north to Buenos Aires.

    Arrive Santiago, Chile

    Upon arrival in Santiago, Chile, you will be welcomed by your Cox & Kings representative and escorted to your hotel.

    You have time to relax before this evening's welcome dinner.

  • Day 2
    To Punta Arenas

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your fight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival you will be met and accompanied to your hotel, located on the Senoret channel in the southernmost part of Chile.

  • Day 3 - 4
    Patagonia

    Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Patagonia for two full days. Venture into Torres del Paine National Park to visit Lago Grey and its Grey Glacier that calves huge, intensely colored icebergs into the lake. Explore pristine landscapes that once were home to the prehistoric horse, the giant sloth and the saber-tooth tiger. As you discover on foot, horseback or by kayak, keep your eyes open for the majestic condor soaring between isolated peaks and the sharp-taloned eagle hunting its prey.

  • Day 5
    Cruising Patagonia

    After breakfast, transfer to the Punta Arenas dock to begin your cruise. Sail through the Strait of Magellan to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception to celebrate the commencement of your journey to 'the uttermost part of the earth'.

  • Day 6
    Cruising Patagonia

    Cruise through Almirantazgo Sound to Alberto de Agostini National Park. Marvel at glaciers descending from the mountainside to the sea, keep your eyes open for elephant seals and take a hike through Magellanic forest to a remote beaver dam. Later, visit a colony of penguins or hike to a nearby glacier.

  • Day 7
    Cruising Patagonia

    Sail through the Beagle Channel and disembark near Pia fjord for a hike to the magnificent Pia glacier. Back on board, gaze at the spectacular scenery of "Glacier Alley".

    Cruising Patagonia

    Sail through Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where you will disembark (weather permitting) to discover the land at the end of the earth. Go ashore at historic Wulaia Bay, originally the site of one of the region's largest settlements of the indigenous Yamana people. Charles Darwin also landed there during his voyage on the HMS Beagle. Walk through a lush forest to reach a panoramic viewpoint over the furious southern seas.

  • Day 9
    To Buenos Aires

    Arrive in Ushuaia, where you disembark and transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel.

    You will have time to relax and freshen up before venturing out this evening for dinner and a scintillating tango show.
