Embark on the journey of a lifetime as you explore ancient cities, sit down for a traditional afternoon tea with a local family, and get an up-close look at the talents of acrobats, musicians and even snake charmers.

  • Day 1
    Arrive in Marrakech

    Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will be welcomed by your local representative and assisted to your hotel. After check-in, the balance of the day will be at your leisure.

  • Day 2

    Tour the Saadian Tombs, the elegant El Badi Palace, and the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Meander through the Medina, exploring an endless procession of souqs, mosques, and medersas. Just before sunset, visit the Diemaa el-Fna, the enormous square and atmospheric wonderland of torch-lit food stalls, snake charmers, storytellers and acrobats.

  • Day 3

    Traverse the Middle Atlas range with its landscape of Berber villages and ancient cedar forests on a leisurely drive. Stop for a picnic lunch in the Tadla Region at Beni Mellal, famous for its oranges, grapefruits, apricots, and figs.

  • Day 4
    Essaouira and Casablanca

    After breakfast, you will head to the coastal town of Essaouira for a full-day experience, complete with a private tour. Essaouira is a walled port city on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast. A late-18th-century fortified town, it includes a fishing harbor and a medina full of local artists selling their wares. Lunch will be at Heure Bleue, after which you will be escorted to your hotel in Casablanca.

  • Day 5

    In the morning, you will be picked up by your guide to start your trip to Fes. En route, you will drive through the Moroccan countryside on your way to Meknes, which boasts a maze of streets filled with colorful stalls and architectural delights. Next, you will visit Moulay Idriss, Morocco’s holiest city, and then the Roman ruins at Volubilis to see the Triumphal Arch and exquisite mosaics. Continue to your hotel in the city of Fez.

  • Day 6

    After breakfast, you will join your guide for a tour of Fez, the world’s largest and most beautiful living medieval city. Tour the 14th-century Medersa Bou Inania, famous for its Koranic scriptures in stucco, zellij tiles, and carved wood. Explore the 13th-century tanneries and henna and spice souqs as your wind your way through the labyrinth of streets and alleys, discovering hidden squares like the Place an-Nejiarine and the Museum of Moroccan Arts.

  • Day 7

    After breakfast, you will have some time at your leisure. At a pre-arranged time, you will join your guide for a visit to Fez Al Bali, the oldest walled part of the city. You will get to see and experience the local culture as your stroll through narrow alleys filled with vendors and locals going about their daily lives. Meet up with a local family to enjoy afternoon tea.

  • Day 8

    Today, you will bid farewell to Morocco. You will be picked up by your guide and driven back to Casablanca where you will board your departure flight.
