Arusha, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park

Begin your journey through the seemingly endless plains of East Africa in Tarangire National Park, which is home to large herds of elephant grazing among the iconic baobab trees. Travel onward to the Ngorongoro Crater, which contains within its massive walls one of the world's greatest concentrations of wildlife. Spot the rare, black-maned lion and endangered black rhino as you explore the crater. On the celebrated Serengeti Plains, marvel at the timeless cycle of predator and prey.

  • Day 2
    To Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, where you will be met by your private guide and escorted to your accommodations. • Day 3
    Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a day of game viewing in the park. On guided drives, spot a great variety of big game, including lion, elephant, black rhino and buffalo, as well as a large and varied population of lesser game. Wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and gazelle congregate around each water hole, which also attracts rarer species such as eland and oryx. The swamps of the park are home to more than 500 varieties of birds, the largest number of breeding species in a single habitat anywhere in the world.

Away from the crater itself lie several superb spots for hiking and trekking, or simply relaxing and taking in the views.
