Discover the natural wonders of Zimbabwe on this adventurous journey. From Mana Pools National Park and the Zambezi River - home to hippo, crocodile and a great variety of birdlife - to the great herds of elephant in Hwange National Park, you'll explore the wild areas of Zimbabwe. Along the way, spot zebra and giraffe while sipping a cocktail in camp, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and stand at the edge of the thundering cascades of Victoria Falls.

  • Day 1
    Arrive Victoria Falls / To Mana Pools National Park

    Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, fly to Mana Pools National Park, and continue to your camp located in the most remote part of the park. The camp is built around the Kanga Pan, the only permanent water source in the area available throughout the year, making it a hub for wildlife and a delight to explore on foot. The camp's meru-style tents are all furnished simply yet elegantly. You can experience game viewing from the comfort of the lounge or dining area, both with uninterrupted views of the active water hole.

  • Day 2 - 3
    Mana Pools National Park

    Spend two days exploring the area on game drives and walking expeditions. Additionally, an hour's drive brings you to the Zambezi River where guests are able to join additional activities such as canoeing and fishing excursions, on request. Perhaps you may choose to spend a night on the open air sleep out and experience the magnificence of an African night. Mana Pools is renowned for large numbers of elephant, buffalo, hippo and eland and predators such as lion, leopard and wild dog are all found in the area.

  • Day 4
    To Hwange National Park

    Continue by light aircraft to Hwange today. Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of Hwange National Park, known as the land of the giants for its big elephant herds. Tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, the camp offers views of the savannah plains. The camp consists of only six canvas tents. The main decking area includes a small splash pool overlooking the natural pan where herds of game congregate to drink and where guests can relax and observe.

  • Day 5 - 6
    Hwange National Park

    Spend these days exploring the game-rich Hwange National Park on exciting game drives, both day and night. Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, white rhino, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species. The camp also offers the opportunity to view wildlife up close and personal from the hides near the pan where wildlife comes to drink.

    To Victoria Falls

    Enjoy a final game drive today. This afternoon, depart on a scenic flight to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, continue to your lodge overlooking the bush and the waterhole offering fantastic sunsets.

    Victoria Falls

    This morning, enjoy a guided walk of nearby Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Afterwards, celebrate your last evening in Zimbabwe during a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

    Depart Victoria Falls

    Bid farewell to Africa after breakfast this morning as you are escorted to the Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight.
